Essential Vitamins & Minerals

Calcium lactate is a form of calcium that is easily absorbed. It supports strong bones, and helps promote a healthy nervous system and muscle function.

Zinc propionate is a zinc supplement.

Mixed tocopherols are a combination of the four tocopherols present in vitamin E. They are also used to maintain freshness and shelf-life.

  • Yes, and that's because Onward Hound does not cut corners when it comes to our treats. We know how challenging it can be to care for dogs with food sensitivities so we make our ingredients a top priority. Your dog only lives once and they deserve the best!

How often should I be giving my dog treats?

As often as you'd like! At only 3.5 calories a treat, you can rest assured that you won't be over feeding your pup during training sessions. We recommend 6 treats per day for every 15lbs of body weight.

Is a 10oz bag standard?

Nope, it's much bigger. 10oz is more than double the industry standard of 4oz at less than twice the cost. We know that training your dog takes repetition and patience - something that running out of treats doesn't support!
